SUPERMARKETS

There are a couple of local supermarkets I use. The Costcutter is ok for basic essentials. The Nisa Local about 10 minutes away, on the route to Aberaeron is better.

PLACES TO EAT

There are lot of good places to eat out in New Quay and the surrounding area, with the choice including fish and chips at the harbour, various good pubs and some very nice restaurants. I have listed a few of the places that I have enjoyed!

BOAT TRIPS IN THE BAY

I really enjoyed taking one of the boat trips out into the bay and we saw some seals pretty close up. Cardigan bay has the largest population of bottlenose dolphins in Europe as well as a large seal population. I've seen dolphins when sitting on the harbour wall!

BEACHES

As well as the 2 small beaches in the town, New Quay Bay has a lovely long sandy beach which is definitely worth a visit.

COASTAL PATH WALK TO ABERAERON

The coastal path walk from New Quay to Aberaeron takes about 3 hours. Its well worth doing and gives you some spectacular views of the sea.
