We absolutely loved this when we did it - we didn't see any dolphins (although I have seen them when I was on the harbour wall, only about 50 meters away!) but we did see some seals and birds. It was just a great way to see the coast from a different perspective and lovely to be out on the water. There are a number of companies that provide boat trips in the bay. I can't remember which one we used but here are a few - they all get good reviews. Note that the last one below provides fishing trips:
