There is a small, heated swimming pool which is great for a dip and having some fun. The pool area is completely private and has a barbeque area.
There is a barbeque area next to the pool. Guests are requested to only use disposable barbeque sets as we have found that using coals creates an awful lot of mess and makes it very difficult to clean the barbeque satisfactorily.
The hot tub looks out over the bay and seats 5-6 people. Its a lovely way to relax but don't stay in too long!
The games room has a pool table. Please always provide adult supervision to minors as any damage to the table or cues will be chargeable. The games room also has table football, a TV with PlayStation with a few games to use. There is also retro arcade machine based on the "retropie" platform, which has over 3000 games. All the facilities provided in the games room are free to use.
Fridge freezer. Induction hob (please only use the saucepans / frying pans provided as you will damage the appliance if you use non-induction suitable pans). Dishwasher, electric oven, microwave and various other small appliances.
There are 4 bedrooms, all of which are upstairs. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom.
The master bedroom has an en-suite which has a shower. There is a shared bathroom with bath. There is also a shower downstairs, off the utility room
Washing machine and tumble drier (please only use the drier if it is really necessary - it uses lots of energy which isn't great for the environment, and a rotary clothes line is provided). The controls for the heating and hot water are on the side of the cupboard by the back door and are on timer - please do not alter the timer settings. If additional heating or hot water is needed simply press the "advance" button.
Please do not spend more than 15 minutes at a time in the hot tub and shower after using the tub, particularly if you have sensitive skin. Guests should note that hot tub water contains chemicals that are needed to kill harmful bacteria and keep the hot tub clean and safe. However, these chemicals can potentially cause skin irritation and a rash (known as chemical dermatitis) in some people, particularly those with sensitive skin.
Children using the pool must be supervised by an adult at all times. The access gate to the pool should be kept locked shut when not in use, especially if there are children within the party. Please note that swimming pool is only available from May to September (inclusive) and is heated in this period.
Please take care if using the wood burning stove in the lounge. The fire safety railing around the stove and the doors to the stove itself should always be kept closed unless adding more wood to the fire.
The key to the back door is in a key safe next to the back door. The code for the key safe will be sent to you before your arrival. Please ensure that you close and lock all doors when leaving the property. All doors apart from the back door should be locked from the inside and the keys for these doors should be left in the lock at all time.
The path to the hot tub and the path to the pool can be slippery when its wet. Please take care on these.
