Supporting marine life conservation in Cardigan Bay

Amazingly, Cardigan Bay supports the largest population of dolphins in  Europe.  Specifically, the bay has a large population of bottlenose dolphins which grow to around 4 metres in length and can weight more than 400 kilos.  They live for more than 40 years and produce only one calf in 3 years.  They cruise at around 10km/hour with a miximum speed of 40km / hour.
